Yeovil Town will go into today's match against Bristol City four players short as manager Russell Slade decides not to take any risks when selecting his squad to play at Ashton Gate.
Midfielders Anthony Barry and Marc Bircham will be missing, as will striker Lee Morris and defender Matthew Rose. However, Russell told BBC Somerset Sound that left-back Nathan Jones will be making his return after a minor knee problem:
"He's back now and he'll be pleased about that, because he's been dying to get some football under his belt. We've still got one or two niggly injuries to one or two of our personnel but they are nothing major."
Russell added that the quartet missing were not of significant concern, pointing out that all would be in the squad if today's match wasn't a friendly:
"Anthony Barry will be back in training early next week, we would hope. The same applies to Lee Morris and Matty Rose. If it was a League game probably all three would play. But we don't want to do that at this stage. Marc Bircham is another one. He has got a slight strain as well. It's all down to the work that they are doing. We are bound to pick up one or two little niggling injuries and we don't want that to affect the start of the season because there is a lot of football to be played."
