27 July 2007 : Youth's Portland Match Washed Out
Last night's pre-season friendly for the Under 18s side against Portland United fell victim to the wet weather. The Grove Corner pitch was deemed unplayable, and boss Portland Dave Kiteley told the Dorset Echo:

"It's a shame we couldn't play because it would've been a good test for us, but it won't hamper our preparations for the season and we are looking forward to tomorrow's game."
