Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has this afternoon said that he is hoping to sign a player from a Premiership side on loan. The player concerned travelled down for talks yesterday, and Russell is hoping to get a response from him by tomorrow (Friday).
Speaking to BBC Somerset Sound, Russell said he expected the player to slot into midfield, but said added that there were other options available to him:
"He's from a top Premier League club, and we're pleased that he made the journey down to have a look at Yeovil. He's obviously never been to Yeovil before. He went on loan to a Championship club last year and did particularly well. He is quite a versatile player. He plays in midfield but he has also played at right-back and he will again bring energy and youth to the side and he will help balance things up again."
