Ciderspace News Page : Russell's Verdict On The Doncaster Game
1 March 2007 : Russell's Verdict On The Doncaster Game
Glovers boss Russell Slade was not too downhearted at seeing his side come back from the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night with only a single point. Russell considered that it was just important to keep Doncaster Rovers, who lie just outside the playoffs, at arms length as it was for the Glovers themselves to inch another step towards securing a playoff slot in League One.

Speaking to BBC Radio Bristol immediately after the game, Russell admitted: "It keeps Doncaster off us and it means that they've lost two points at home. Everyone is running out of games and that is the important thing. We've now taken seven points from nine and that is no small feat. We must keep going now, keep plodding along and keep the momentum going."
