It's not just Yeovil Town struggling for players. Ronnie Moore, manager of next opponents Tranmere Rovers, has problems of his own, and has admitted he may be pushed into changing formation to compensated for his growing injury and suspension list on next Saturday's trip to Huish Park.
John [Thompson] will have a scan on Wednesday, but four to six weeks is what Les [Parry, physio] is saying at this present time. We'll just have to wait and see. It is his medial ligaments, which is a nightmare. It was nothing really, just a block tackle, but he knew straight away that something wasn't right. That's a major blow for us.
Tremarco being booked for time wasting was ridiculous, there's no way he was time wasting. So it leaves us a bit short as he is now suspended.
Ian Goodison won't train today, he's with Les and is a massive doubt for Yeovil. We thought he might be all right but it looks as though he'll be missing.
At least Sherriff is back, that's a big thing for us. John Mullin has a calf strain and will have a scan on that today.
Kevin Ellison had a knock on his knee and won't train today, but he should be all right for the game. Davies is back after the suspension, but we're a bit short at the back.
If Goodison doesn't make it Sherriff can play centre back with McCready, but it leaves us short at left back. Kevin Ellison has played there so we'll just have to wait and see.
It may be that we change our formation to work with what we've got. We may have to play 3-4-3 or 3-5-2. We'll have a look at the roll call tomorrow and do a bit of work on shape on Thursday and Friday, but we don't know yet who'll be fit.
Sherriff and McCready can certainly play in a three man defence, it's just who's the spare man in the three? Robbie Stockdale could do it, and Gareth Taylor has played centre half for Forest on a few occasions, so he can be a stocking filler for a game. There are lots of things we have to look at and it will be a busy week sorting out the options.
