Glovers boss Russell Slade has praised the roles played by right-back Andy Lindegaard and striker Marcus Stewart who played their first games for Yeovil for some while on Friday night against Huddersfield Town. Marcus had not played a competitive match since the end of November whilst Lindy's last match was at the end of August, so Russell was glad both players got through the match when called on to do so.
Speaking to BBC Radio Bristol immediately after the game, Russell explained: "They both admitted they were getting a little bit tired. Lindy said he was blowing a bit in the last 25 minute to half an hour. So yes, they have done terrifically haven't they because they haven't had a lot of football. Lindy hasn't played for 3.5 to 4 months so to come back in will give him a big boost."
