In a break from the league title race Yeovil Town Ladies were in action in the Second Round of the Pat Sowden Trophy. The Glovers were far too strong for Poole Town of the South West Women's League Division One South, winning 9-0.
With plenty of postponements in the competition on Sunday because of the wet weather Yeovil will have to wait to see whether it is to Penzance or Cheltenham Town they will have to travel for Round Three on 28th January.
The top of the table clash with Cullompton Rangers originally scheduled for next Sunday (3rd December) has been postponed as Rangers will be engaged in a third attempt to complete a County Cup tie.
