Further to yesterday's coverage of the midweek friendly against Gillingham Town, the previously unknown goalscorer has been identified as Lewis Gundry who was one of two players trialling for Stuart Housley's Youth Team last night. He scored the third of Yeovil's goals in a 4-0 win over the Dorset club and was one of two Youth trialists playing in midfield.
The opening goal has been credited as an own goal after a Tom Clarke cross was headed into his own net by a Gillingham Town defender. A Portuguese first-team trialist, known just as 'Sergio', also went up for the same ball, but Stuart believes the ball only made contact with the home defender. Sergio is a 29 year old who has experience of Portugal's Premier Division, and is believed to share the same agent as former Glover Hugo Rodrigues.
