Yeovil Town winger David Poole netted the opening goal in Stockport County's 2-0 win over Barnet this afternoon. Poole, who is on loan to the Hatters for a month to regain his match fitness, scored his first goal for the Cheshire side after he followed up Tes Bramble's parried shot on 31 minutes. The win saw Stockport climb up to 19th in League Two.
Gavin McCallum and Bradley Thomas commenced their second loan spell with Conference side Tamworth with a 0-0 draw against Stafford Rangers. McCallum had one of the best chances for the home side, forcing Stafford keeper Danny Alcock into a strong save during the early stages but neither side could break the deadlock. Tamworth ended the day in 20th place as they continue their gradual climb up the table.
To our knowledge, goalkeeper Danny Barker did not play for Clyst Rovers today. The FA Vase interrupted the majority of the Toolstation League programme and unless Clyst managed to rearrange a fixture at short notice, they were left without a game.
