In addition to the Bradford City game on December 23rd (see below) the football club are offering a series of deals mainly aimed at Under 16s at encouraging younger supporters to attend games at Huish Park. The move comes under the umbrella of the Football League's Fans Of The Future scheme, and are as follows:
Junior Organisations
Under 16s who belong to a junior-oriented organisation such as Cubs, Beavers, Junior Football Clubs (presumably this list is not exhaustive) can gain free admission to a selection of four forthcoming matches, if they are accompanied by a paying adult. Up to four Under 16s can be admitted per paying adult. So three paying adults could take in a whole Junior Football team of 12 players. The eligible games are all Saturday 3.00pm fixtures and are as follows:
(a) Oldham Althetic : 21st October 2006
(b) Scunthorpe United : 25th November 2006
(c) Gillingham : 9th December 2006
(d) Huddersfield Town : 6th January 2007
Soccer Schools and Fireworks Night
Those who attend the October Half-Term Soccer School will be given a voucher as part of their attendance at the school. Similarly those who purchase a Family Ticket (admitting two adults and two juniors, cost £13) for the Fireworks Night on November 3rd will be given a voucher.
This voucher will allow an Under 16 to attend the Scunthorpe United game on 25th November for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Dates for the Soccer Schools are : 24th-26th October and 30th October - 1st November at Huish Park. Time: 10am - 2.30pm. Costs are £30.00 for one three day session or £50.00 for both weeks.
