A new group of Exiled Supporters have decided to set themselves up in a semi-formalised basis to represent Yeovil Town fans based in London and the Home Counties. They have passed us the following message:
"Dear London and South-East Glovers,
Here is your chance to meet fellow supporters in the London area. We already have a thriving 5-a-side team and now we are aiming to provide travel to both home and away games, either through lift shares or more organised mini-buses or coaches, as well as social events such as pub meet ups, quiz nights and greyhound racing.
If you would be interested in being part of this fantastic group of people then please register your interest at info@capitalglovers.com.
Hope to see you soon.
The Capital Glovers."
Prior to tomorrow's game against Brentford, a group of Capital Glovers along with various Ciderspace representatives plan to head to the Waggon and Horses pub prior to the match. The Waggon and Horses is situated on Kew Bridge Road, next to Kew Bridge, near Kew Bridge Station and opposite Kew Bridge Steam Museum (worth a look steam buffs!) So that's near Kew Bridge for those that missed it!
Kew Bridge station is on the line from Waterloo that goes to Brentford (it's the stop before!). Otherwise take the tube to Gunnersbury and at that point you either have a short walk or alternatively hop on a 237/267 bus (and get off next to the bridge). If anyone wants to introduce themselves, whether you're a Ciderspace, Green Room or YTFC Forum reader or a Glover based in the South-East, then please pop in and say hello!
