Yeovil Town's mascot the Jolly Green Giant will be putting on his running spikes on Saturday when he takes part in Chepstow's Annual Football Mascot Race.
The event, which puts the Giant up against other local football club mascots, is a Charity race that is run before the main programme.
In last years race, the Jolly Green Giant could only manage a second from last position. That finish led to comments being made by Yeovil Express Sports Editor Steve Sowden that ultimately resulted in a head-to-head race between the duo down at the Avenue Stadium, Dorchester. One can only hope that the local Paparazzi will be kinder to the Giant this time round, or Mr Sowden could find himself doing another lap - and this time round the larger Huish Park pitch!
