Yeovil Town are seeking Sports Therapists to work under their first team structure for the coming 2019-20 season. They haven't specified exactly how many vacancies there are for this role, although the implication is that they're looking to appoint more than one.
This isn't a position that existed during the 2018-19 season, although has been in place under various past first team management structures, usually working alongside the main physio to provide both injury prevention and rehabilitation roles for players. The club's job specification is as follows:
"The club is seeking additional sports therapists to provide a range of sports therapy services to the first team. The hours of work will be centred on training and match schedules, so evening/weekend working is required. The successful applicant will hold a Degree in Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation with a minimum two years' experience in sport. A full UK Driving license and excellent communication skills are also required."
The club has also indicated that the first team physio vacancy that was advertised last month has yet to be filled. This will be a successor to Mike Micciche who left Huish Park on June 4th. Applicants are still being welcomed for this role, with the job specification as per the original vacancy.
The closing date for both vacancies is 5.00p.m. on Friday 19th July 2019 - i.e. five days time. To submit your CV, contact Chief Operating Officer David Mills at email@example.com or via post at:
Yeovil Town FC, Huish Park, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8YF.
