Yeovil Town defender Bevis Mugabi has reached a personal milestone today. The 23 year old has been named in the starting line-up for the Easter Monday League Two match against Colchester United, and so will make his 100th appearance for the Glovers. Signed by former manager Darren Way in August 2016, after his release by Premier League side Southampton, Bevis has been a reasonably regular part of the Yeovil Town line-up over the last three years.
Playing a mix of right-back and centre-back across that time, he spent a lot of his earlier appearances in the full-back slot. However, with Tom James tending to slot into the right-back position over the last couple of years, Bevis has tended to occupy a central position in most games. He's one of a number of players who are out of contract at the end of the 2018-19 season, and as he'll pass through his 24th birthday by that point, he'll be entitled to talk to other clubs and move on a free transfer, should he wish to do so.
