Ciderspace News Page : Interview With Phil Jevons
23 April 2006 : Interview With Phil Jevons
Phil Jevons spoke to the press after helping Yeovil Town’s bid to retain League One status by tucking away his penalty in the first half against an in-form Gillingham side who went in the game having won their previous six on the trot.

Jevons, who has been instrumental for the Glovers this season, has no doubts that the referee was correct in awarding the spot-kick: "He (Brent Sancho) gave me a little tug and that was enough - I went down and he (the referee) gave him a red card. Then it was a case of trusting what I usually do. The way I take penalties paid off once again."
