19 April 2006 : Youths Could Clinch Title On Saturday
The Yeovil Town U-18 side travel to play Oxford United on Saturday knowing a win will secure the Football League Youth Alliance League South West Division chamionship whatever the results elsewhere. On a run of eleven straight victories Stuart Housley's side should be brimming with confidence that they can secure the title with a game to spare on their own performance on Saturday, though such is their commanding situation that results elsewhere could hand it to them even should they lose.

Club secretary Jean Cotton has e-mailed us with details of the venue for any Glovers who are looking to drop in on the game, which kicks off at 11.00 a.m. Oxford University's Iffley Road Sports Complex hosts the match. You can find it on the map here.

Most famous as the site of the first sub four minute mile by Roger Bannister Iffley Road Sports Complex is just off the A4158, one of the routes in towards the centre of the city from the South from the Oxford Ring Road. The complex has its own car park with 110 spaces. Expect to see students.......
