Officials for the League Two match between Oldham Athletic and Yeovil Town have been published by the Football League. The match takes place on Tuesday 12th February 2019, with a 7.45p.m. kick-off at Boundary Park. The man in charge of the fixture will be referee Thomas Bramall (South Yorkshire).
He was promoted to the National League at the start of the 2016-17 season, and spent two years at that level before getting a quick promotion to the Football League in the summer of 2018. He is a PE Teacher from Sheffield. Obviously with him being brand new to refereeing at this level, we've only had him twice for Yeovil Town matches as a man in the middle. So far he's taken charge of 34 matches since his promotion to this level, with a very reasonable looking 74 yellow cards and three red cards.
The first was the August 2018 game against Grimsby Town which ended in a 1-0 victory for the Glovers. We can't recall any significant controversy about the game, with just one booking for each side during the match. He then took charge of the October 2018 match against Carlisle United ar Brunton Park. That game also ended in a 1-0 victory, with zero bookings, and not a lot of involvement from him. Any chances of a hat-trick of 1-0 wins, and a hat-trick of low key refereeing performances?
Mr Bramall will be assisted by Ken Haycock (South Yorkshire) and Lee Freeman (Sheffield). The Fourth Official will be Sebastian Stockbridge (Tyne & Wear).
