Ciderspace News Page : Gafaiti Signs Contract Extension With Yeovil Town
8 January 2019 : Gafaiti Signs Contract Extension With Yeovil Town
Yeovil Town have extended the contract for defender Adel Gafaiti. The 24 year old French-Algerian had been on the club's books on a short term contract since November 24th 2018, and there was the implication that his arrangements were up this week. The former Norwich City and Oldham Athletic player has now penned a deal that will keep him at Huish Park until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Adel made his debut at Macclesfield Town as a surprise signing on the day of the game, but after a brief drop-out from the squad, he has become a more regular member of the starting line-up, playing in seven matches so far. Manager Darren Way believes that Gafaiti's arrival at the club helped strengthen the squad:

"Adel has come in and strengthened the squad, with his services now secured for the rest of the season. It's now important that he keeps developing and learning to take him to the next level."
