As reported below (see 10th June news item) Yeovil Town players and management have been recognised at the Conference AGM for their achievements during the past season. The full list of those awarded has now been published by the Yeovil Express as follows:



GOALSCORER OF THE YEAR: Paul Barnes (Doncaster Rovers).

TEAM OF THE YEAR: CHRIS WEALE (YEOVIL TOWN); Tarkan Mustafa (Dagenham and Redbridge); TERRY SKIVERTON (YEOVIL TOWN); Scott Guyett (Chester City); Michael Rose (Hereford United); Stewart Drummond (Morecambe); MICHAEL MCINDOE (YEOVIL TOWN); DARREN WAY (YEOVIL TOWN); Daryl Clare (Chester City); Paul Barnes (Doncaster Rovers); Junior Agogo (Barnet).

PROGRAMME OF THE YEAR: Dagenham and Redbridge.


Full Manager of the Month Awards were as follows: August - Dave Penney (Doncaster Rovers); September - GARY JOHNSON (Yeovil Town); October - Dave Penney (Doncaster Rovers); November - Mark Wright (Chester City); December - Graham Turner (Hereford United); January - Chris Wilder (Halifax Town); February - Colin Addison (Forest Green Rovers); March - GARY JOHNSON (Yeovil Town); April - Jim Harvey (Morecambe) and GARY JOHNSON (Yeovil Town).

Full Goalscorer of the Month awards were as follows: August - Wayne Curtis (Morecambe), Gregg Blundell (Northwich Victoria), Jamie Pitman (Hereford United), Mark Quayle (Nuneaton Borough), Christian Moore (Burton Albion), Noureddine Maamria (Leigh RMI); September - Ryan Sugden (Chester City); October - Christian Moore (Burton Albion), Ryan Mallon (Halifax Town), ABDOULAI DEMBA (Yeovil Town); November - Daryl Clare (Chester City); December - Daryl Clare (Chester City), Stephen West (Dagenham and Redbridge), Paul Barnes (Doncaster Rovers), Robert Gill (Doncaster Rovers); January - Daryl Clare (Chester City); February - Paul Barnes (Doncaster Rovers); March - KIRK JACKSON (Yeovil Town); April - KEVIN GALL (Yeovil Town).

The Nationwide Conference Performance of the Month awards were confirmed last weekend as being the following: August - Telford United; September - Gravesend and Northfleet; October - Nuneaton Borough; November - Morecambe; December - Scarborough; January - Telford United; February - Telford United; March - Stevenage Borough; April - Woking.

Speaking to the Yeovil Express, Glovers boss Gary Johnson commented: "It was great to have been awarded these honours. A lot of nice things were said to us about Yeovil Town during the weekend. It made us realise that we are leaving a lot of friends behind and that we were a credit to the Nationwide Conference. Everybody seemed to mention about the way we played during the last few weeks of the season."
