Yeovil Town loanee Enes Mahmutovic picked up his tenth cap for his country on Sunday evening. The UEFA Nations League match against Moldova at the Stadionul Zimbru was the first time that the Middlesbrough defender had started a match in this competition, and only the second time that he's been given game time at international level during his Glovers loan spell. On this occasion, he was given the full 90 minutes, in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Moldova took the lead through a Radu Ginsari penalty, after Luxembourg's Maxime Chanot committed a foul inside the box. But with 20 minutes remaining, Stefano Bensi took advantage of a Danel Sinani pass to level the scores up. The result meant that Luxembourg finished their Nations League campaign in second place, with Belarus taking the top spot. Mahmutovic will now be free to return back to Somerset, after both of his weekend games.
Final Score: Moldova 1 Luxembourg 1.
