8 November 2018 : Glovers Welcome Back Trio Onto Training Ground Ahead Of FA Cup Tie
Yeovil Town have been able to welcome back three of their missing players onto the training ground this week, ahead of the FA Cup First Round tie against Stockport County. In addition, Olufela Olomola who had picked up a knock in Tuesday night's EFL Trophy Group Stage match against West Ham United Under-21s has been declared fit, and trained today with presumably any concerns about his hamstring laid to rest as a result of that session.

Of the other three Gary Warren has been struggling with injuries throughout this season, with his latest problem having been a groin strain that means he's missed the last four matches. He is back training, along with Jordan Green having recovered from a hamstring problem that kept him out for five matches. On top of that, striker Alex Fisher is back after a virus kept him out for two matches. Way told BBC Somerset that it would be a discussion between himself and the physio as to who landed on the teamsheet, but the good news was that Olomola had been given a clean bill of health:

"He's okay. He trained today, so he's okay. They've all been on the training ground today. So that's good. I'll have a decision, between me and (physio) Mike (Micciche), as to whether they're on the bench, or whether they play, or whether they rest. So we've got some decisions to make."

That would leave Yeovil Town with just two main injuries, with James Bailey having been absent since Boxing Day 2017 with a knee injury, whilst defender Omar Sowummi is expected to be absent with an ankle problem until the end of the year. There is a question mark over the availability of Korrey Henry, who is reported to have an injury, but without any detail of what his issues may be.

Saturday sees Yeovil Town face non-league opposition in the FA Cup for the first time since the 2016-17 season. On that occasion, they found National League side Solihull Moors a tough nut to crack, throwing away a two goal advantage in the match at Huish Park, before losing on penalties in the replay. Way referenced that match in explaining how important the game management would be for his side when playing Saturday's National League North opponents:

"I think that it's very important that you remain focussed on the way that we play, but understand that teams can be a threat. The game management I feel is very important. I remember the game against Solihull where we should have been 4-0 or 5-0 up, and Kevin Dawson got sent off and it sent everyone into panic. Then we had to go to Solihull and come up with a result. We had a decision go against us, which was the penalty decision, and you're always running the risk then. It doesn't matter with the opposition, or who you're up against, because that's what the FA Cup is known for, with giant-killing. We've got to make sure we're not on the wrong end of that. But I think that with this group they're very professional and we've got a lot of athleticism within the team."
