A Yeovil Town Legends side will take to the field towards the end of this month, to help Sherborne Town play tribute to one of their longest serving players and coaches. Glenn Nathan has spent over 20 years with the Dorset side, as player and as Reserve Team Manager and Commercial Manager, and their club are launching a special day in tribute to him, on Sunday 29th July 2018.
The event will be run from 1.30p.m. until 7.00p.m. with Sherborne Town Under-9s and Pen Mill Under-9s providing a warm-up game. Then at 3.00p.m. the centre-stage will be given to Sherborne Town Legends who will play Yeovil Town Legends. At present, the Glovers side is expected to include Andy Buse, Paul Thorpe, Terry Skiverton, Dean Birkby, Paul Terry, Nick Crittenden, Terry Cotton, Wayne Woollard, Bob Russell, Adrian Foster, Danny Hutchins, Neil Smith, Rob Cousins and Steve Thompson.
Entry on the day will be £2.00 for adults. There will be a barbeque, plus face painting and a bouncy castle (for the kids!) with a raffle taking place. This doesn't clash with any Yeovil Town pre-season fixture (as the first team are listed as travelling to Corby Town on the previous day) so come on down to Raleigh Grove and support this event.
