Yeovil Town have provided an update on the availability of injured midfielders Jake Gray and James Bailey. Neither player featured in the opening pre-season friendly against Swansea City, having suffered long term injuries last season. Bailey was injured in a block tackle during the Boxing Day match against Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road, whilst Jake Gray suffered a serious ankle injury ligament injury in the home match against Carlisle United at Huish Park.
Both have been confirmed as missing pre-season, with Jake Gray having travelled up to St George's Park for rehabilitation on his ankle. He is due to be back in action around September. Meanwhile James Bailey has needed further surgery on his knee on Tuesday and was pictured on his Instagram account with a large knee brace. With respect to Bailey the situation is ambiguous - the club say that he "will now be back on the pitch this year", although they do not say when he is expected to return.
