Yeovil Town midfielder Connor Smith has become the latest player to leave Huish Park. The 25 year old former Plymouth Argyle player has had his contract terminated by mutual consent midway through a two year contract that he signed in July 2017.
Although he initially featured reasonably heavily in Yeovil Town's midfield during the first half of the campaign, that thinned out radically from mid-October onwards, with him making only four starts in League Two after that point. Overall, Connor made 28 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
He will now become a free agent, and will be able to sign for another club. Since the club issued their formal Released and Retained list back in May, they have seen goalkeeper Jonny Maddison leave for Darlington, midfielder Oscar Gobern sign for Eastleigh and winger Otis Khan agree terms with Mansfield Town.
