30 May 2018 : Phillips Joins Thommo In Thailand
Yeovil Town goalkeeping coach Steve Phillips has been confirmed as taking part in the 2018 Seniors World Cup. The 40 year old, who was also registered as a player for the Glovers during the 2017-18 season, links up with a squad that is heading out to Bangkok for a training camp, before travelling south in early June for the main competition.

As reported earlier this month, former Yeovil Town manager, assistant manager and midfielder Steve Thompson is also in the squad that will be aiming to win the competition for a third consecutive occasion. The squad are managed under the Harrogate Veterans team, but will wear the badge of the Three Lions throughout the tournament, where they will play up to six matches if they reach the final.

Although the full squad has not been announced, former Yeovil Town winger Lee Elam has also been a regular in their squad over the last few years - it's not yet been confirmed whether he is travelling.
