Ciderspace News Page : Glovers Sweep More Awards
10 June 2003 : Glovers Sweep More Awards
Yeovil Town swept the awards at the Nationwide Conference 2003 AGM in Blackpool last weekend according to the Official Site.

Predictably Gary Johnson was given the Manager of the Season award for winning the Conference by a record 17 points. Left winger Michael McIndoe was also awarded the Conference Player of the Season - the first time a Yeovil Town player has claimed such an award.

McIndoe was therefore unsurprisingly also named in the Conference team of the season, which included team-mates Chris Weale, Terry Skiverton and Darren Way.

We are told that there were more celebrations over the weekend as central defender Roy O'Brien tied the knot with his fiancee Sarah. Meanwhile former player Adrian Foster did the same with Yeovil Town Ladies footballer Becky Rossiter, daughter of former director Andy. Finally, love was also in the air at YTISA, as Chairman Mark Kelly married committee member Sara Brimble. Congratulations to all, and may you have long and happy futures.
