Yeovil Town have planned out their 2018-19 first team pre-season schedule, which includes six friendly matches, and a seventh yet to be planned in. Matches against Plymouth Argyle and North Dorset side Gillingham Town were already known about. The club will also host what is described as a Swansea City first team and League One side Bristol Rovers.
This will be the fifth time since 2010 that the club have played a pre-season friendly against the Swans, albeit with a couple of those being labelled as games against their Under-21 or Under-23 levels. It will also be the fourth friendly against the Gas since 2012, with last season's match at Huish Park finishing in a 1-3 home defeat.
There are also a number of away fixtures, including a chance to see Steve Thompson at Dorchester Town along with the club's first visit to Southern League Division One East Corby Town for 48 years. Finally the club will help Gillingham Town play at their new Woodwater Lane venue. There is one date that has been left blank, with the club expected to be making another journey into Wales for a pre-season training camp - they are planning to play a fixture on or around July 14th in the middle of that spell, but have not yet fixed the opposition.
The match against Plymouth Argyle will be hosted as a Family Day, with other events planned across the Saturday. Fixtures are as follows:
