Officials for the League Two fixture between Yeovil Town and Morecambe have been announced by the Football League. The match takes place on Tuesday 12th September 2017 at Huish Park, with a 7.45p.m. kick-off. The man in charge of the fixture will be referee Craig Hicks (Surrey).
He is a brand new referee at Football League level, having been promoted in the summer of 2017. He began refereeing in Surrey local games in 2001, before progressing up through the ranks. He was given the 2016 Surrey County Cup Final between Merstham and Godalming Town, and then a year later he bowed out on his National League duties by taking charge of a 2017 Play-Off Semi-Final between Aldershot and Tranmere Rovers.
So far he's been given four League Two matches and two EFL Trophy Group games. His 16 yellow cards and zero red cards across six matches is modest so far. His last match was Cheltenham Town's home game against Stevenage, which saw four players cautioned.
Mr Hicks will be assisted by John Flynn (Oxfordshire) and Christopher Husband (Worcestershire). The Fourth Official will be Mark Derrien (Dorset).
