Yeovil Town have completed the signing of former Bristol Rovers and Derby County midfielder Alefe Santos. The Brazillian has been given a two year contract at the club after a successful trial at Huish Park and is the club's eighth new arrival of the summer.
Born on March 1st 1995 (aged 22) in Sao Paulo in Brazil, he moved to England at the age of 12 and was part of Stoke City's academy system before switching to Bristol Rovers in 2011 where he was offered a scholarship. He was given a professional contract in April 2013 and went on to make 27 appearances, scoring one goal.
During the summer of 2014, he signed for Derby County after turning down a contract offer at Rovers. There he made just one cup competition appearance for the Rams, but had a three game spell with Notts County on loan during the 2015-16 season, followed by an unproductive loan spell with Eastleigh in the National League. Derby released him at the end of last season, meaning he joins the club as a free agent.
