23 December 2016 : Development Centres For Next Generation Academy Players Planned
Yeovil Town are planning to launch a number of Development Centres in January 2017. These will be aimed at children aged 6 - 12 years old, and provide a formal coaching environment that can be used to develop players' skills at a young age. Those children that are seen as the best of the crop can then be invited to join the main Yeovil Town Academy set-up at a later age.

The club plan to provide a six week introductory trial period before any qualifying players actually join the Development Centre set-up. To obtain further details email (Ian Thompson) at the club.

At present it's not clear where the club will host the Development Centres. Currently, the Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust host their own Development Centres out of Burnham, Taunton, Radstock, Wells, Langport and Yeovil.
