16 February 2006 : No Rest For The Wicked
Glovers boss Steve Thompson has today confirmed that his side will not be getting any significant time off this weekend despite the League One match against Brentford having been postponed until March 7th due to the West London club's involvement in the FA Cup.

On Fourth Round day, Steve gave his players a special 'mid-season break' of around four days to allow them the chance to recharge their batteries - a move that made sense given that it came at the tail end of a busy Christmas fixture schedule. This time round though, the players will be in training during both Friday and Saturday, with an internal practice match planned for tomorrow behind closed doors.

Speaking to the Teamtalk website Thommo explained: "The plan is to work through. We have got a practice match among ourselves on Friday and we will be in on Saturday as well. There isn't going to be any time off. We are working as hard as we can with our sights set on Blackpool."
