League One side Doncaster Rovers are apparently sniffing around Ipswich Town midfielder Kevin Horlock with a view to a loan deal, according to Ipswich's Rivals.net website. Although there has been no confirmation within the Glovers camp, Steve Thompson is believed to be chasing the player as a means of adding much needed experience to the Glovers midfield (see yesterday's story) but may have to beat off the advances of Donny's Dave Penney to do so.
Donny have recently been shuffling their midfield pack, having recently released former Morecambe midfielder Adriano Rigoglioso from the payroll after he had gone 11 months without a game due to injury. Penney has also been trialling Stoke City midfielder Anthony Pulis and Aberdeen midfielder Gary Dempsey giving a very strong pattern as to where he sees the need to strengthen.
