For those, like Ciderspace, who like to keep a distant but beady eye on the fortunes and misfortunes of football cheat Steve Evans, the wheels of justice grind slow. The last time we reported on the cheating Boston United manager on 22nd September, 2005, it was with the news that he'd been charged with defrauding the Inland Revenue, along with four other ex- and current Boston officials. The case was then adjourned until January 2006. With nothing further we could find in the media, and January having run out, we felt it our duty to discover how the cheat's case was progressing. A quick phone call, and our Boston contacts reveal the case has been further adjourned, until September 2006. We'll be back then to follow his twisting and turning triumphant dismissal of all the charges.
