Yeovil Town have agreed terms for Swansea City right-back Liam Shephard to extend his current loan stay at Huish Park. The 20 year old has so far made six appearances for the Glovers, since being brought in on a one month youth loan during mid-January under previous manager Gary Johnson.
With that month having now been completed, the Western Gazette indicates that new acting manager Terry Skiverton has agreed with Swansea for him to remain with the club until the end of the 2014-15 season.
The Glovers now have six loan players on their books, with Swansea City trio Liam Shephard (end of season), Josh Sheehan (one month), Stephen Kingsley (one month) plus Millwall defender Byron Webster (end of season), Fulham defender Stephen Arthurworrey (end of season) and Cardiff City defender Ben Nugent all borrowed from other clubs. That will mean that for any given game, one of those players will have to sit in the stand.
