Yeovil Town striker Adam Morgan was given his second trial match for League One side Chesterfield on Tuesday night. The 20 year old former Liverpool player featured in the Spireites' 5-1 win over Alfreton Town, coming on as a 52 minute substitute, to add to the Saturday appearance he made for them at Shrewsbury Town.
Morgan's presence on the pitch was significantly overshadowed by Ivorian striker Armand Gnanduillet, who bagged a first half hat-trick whilst an own goal and a fifth from Charlie Raglan completed their victory. Apart from his entrance onto the pitch, the Chesterfield club website and local media don't mention Morgan by name to give any indication of any involvement he may have had in those second half goals.
Glovers boss Gary Johnson has made it clear that he is willing to let Morgan go to another club, having decided that he is not part of his future plans.
