The Football League's slightly occasional Team of the Week includes two Yeovil Town players (sort of!) in their line-up based on the weekend fixtures just gone. One is a loan-in and one is a loan-out, with Nottingham Forest striker Ishmael Miller scoring his 10th goal of the 2013-14 season over the weekend, whilst Reuben Reid is on a season-long loan at League Two side Plymouth Argyle.
The Football League nominate Ishmael Miller for his three goals during the past week, saying: "Two goals against Wigan Athletic in a thrilling 3-3 midweek draw, and a goal in a 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday is enough for Miller to make our Team of the Week, despite missing a penalty in the latter match."
Meanwhile, Reuben Reid seems to have finally found his feet, having netted 19 goals for Argyle across the 2013-14 season. This includes three in the last week, and they say this of his performance: "Play-Off chasing Argyle collected four points over their two League 2 games last week and striker Reid was instrumental in doing so, scoring all three of their goals - two against Chesterfield on Tuesday and one against Accrington Stanley on Saturday."
The Football League's Team of the Week, which spans all three divisions, reads as follows:
Goalkeeper: Adam Collin, Rotherham United.
Defender: Steve Cook, Bournemouth.
Defender: Haydn Hollis, Notts County.
Defender: Tommy Smith, Ipswich Town.
Midfielder: Craig Bryson, Derby County.
Midfielder: Jobi McAnuff, Reading.
Midfielder: James Henry, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Midfielder: Jamie Allen, Rochdale.
Striker: Ishmael Miller, Yeovil Town.
