Saturday's opponents Queens Park Rangers are reporting that their Championship home match against Yeovil Town is closing in on being a sell-out. The match takes place at Loftus Road on Saturday 15th March, with a 3.00p.m. kick-off and is being dubbed as Alec Stock Day in homage to the man who gained huge success at both clubs.
With special events during the day, and a special commemorative programme for the match, QPR supporters are responding well in terms of sales at their 18,489 ground. As of the end of yesterday, they indicated that they had just 1,500 home tickets available, with West & East Paddocks and the School End Lower Tier both sold out. The latter is just below where Yeovil Town supporters will be situated on Saturday.
In addition, the South Africa Road Stand Platinum areas are sold out with limited availability in other areas, whilst in the Lower Loft Family Stand they had 100 tickets remaining. There was also limited availability in the Ellerslie Road stand.
A final reminder that you will not be able to purchase Yeovil Town tickets in the away end of the ground on the day of the match. Hence if you are still planning to travel then you should call the Huish Park Ticket Office NOW on 01935-847888 - they will be open until 5.00p.m. tonight.
QPR's highest Championship attendance of the season so far is the 18,171 that turned up to see them play Derby County on November 2nd 2013.
