Yeovil Town Reserves gained a 3-1 win against Swansea City Under-21s this afternoon. In a match played at Swansea's Fairwood training ground in South Wales, the Glovers took the lead through Kieffer Moore on 22 minutes, after a counter-attacking move saw the striker fire into the top right-hand corner to put his side 1-0 up. That goal came after Yeovil had missed a great opportunity to take the lead after Adam Morgan was brought down in the box by Alex Gogic. However the former Liverpool striker missed the target from his spot kick.
Swansea equalised through Sam Evans as he finished from close range before the break, slotting the ball past Chris Dunn from six yards out, to leave the scores tied at half time. During the second half, Adam Morgan atoned for his earlier failure to score by scoring through a spectacular volley - finishing well after he latched onto a deep cross. Then Yeovil in the final ten minutes, Yeovil extended their lead as an unnamed player wearing a No. 18 shirt curled a shot past keeper Oliver Davies for a 3-1 win.
