The following press release has been issued by the Welsh FA:
The Football Association of Wales will host this season's Four Nation International Tournament.
The matches will take place between the 20th - 24th May 2003.
The countries comprise Wales, England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
Wales will be defending the title, won last year with wins over Scotland and Ireland as well as a draw with England.
The match schedule will be as follows:
Tuesday 20th May 2003.
Wales v Scotland at Carmarthen Town. 19.30hrs.
England v Rep.Ireland at Merthyr Tydfil. 19.30hrs.
Thursday 22nd May 2003.
Wales v England at Merthyr Tydfil. 19.30hrs.
Rep.Ireland v Scotland at Haverfordwest County. 19.30hrs.
Saturday 24th May 2003.
Scotland v England at Carmarthen Town. 13.00hrs.
Wales v Rep.Ireland at Haverfordwest County. 15.30hrs.
The tournament represents probably the last time that Yeovil Town players will appear for their countries at non-league level. Last season Gavin Williams was a member of the victorious Wales squad, and Kevin Gall may also find himself in contention after being a regular in the Wales under-21 side this season; whilst Chris Weale, Adam Lockwood, Darren Way, Lee Johnson and Terry Skiverton have all been picked for the England National Game squad this season.
