Ciderspace News Page : Gally Rejects Carlisle Bid
26 August 2005 : Gally Rejects Carlisle Bid
Kevin Gall has rejected a move to Carlisle United ahead of transfer deadline day. A statement from Brunton Park states that an unspecified fee had been agreed between the two clubs but that Gall has decided against the move. Carlisle manager Paul Simpson said :

I had hoped to bring Kevin in by the deadline, and I have been in talks with him over the latter part of this week to try to do that. His agent has just been on the phone a few minutes ago to say that Kevin has decided to stay at Yeovil and fight for his place there.

Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson was in the middle of a live phone-in on Radio Bristol when the news of the rejection broke, and was caught slightly on the hop when questioned about it via e-mail by a supporter. In his reply he did reveal that there had been a number of enquiries about Yeovil players in recent days, not just Kevin Gall and Lee Johnson.
