15 July 2012 : 2012-13 FA Cup Prize Fund

The Football Association have published the Prize Fund details for this season's FA Cup competition. Money from the competition pool is accrued for the winning clubs in each round and is separate from any fees relating to television broadcasts.

As usual, Yeovil Town will enter the competition at the First Round stage - for competition dates, see our earlier news item. The money at stake in each round is as detailed below.

Extra Preliminary Round winners : £1,000
Preliminary Round winners : £1,750
First Qualifying Round winners : £3,000
Second Qualifying Round winners : £4,500
Third Qualifying Round winners : £7,500
Fourth Qualifying Round winners : £12,500

First Round winners : £18,000
Second Round winners : £27,000
Third Round winners : £67,500
Fourth Round winners : £90,000
Fifth Round winners : £180,000
Sixth Round winners : £360,000
Semi-Final winners : £900,000
Semi-Final runners-up : £450,000
Final runners-up : £900,000
Final winners : £1,800,000
