With the dust having settled now on the League Cup First Round draw and the release of the 2012-13 fixtures, there is now a growing list of televised matches being arranged, most of which were announced today.
As with previous seasons, Sky Sports are covering both the Football League and League Cup competitions - however, with this being a new television rights package, there is not expected to be any live games selected by the BBC for this season onwards. Sky have won the rights to a total of 75 Football League matches for the 2012-13 season, with other League Cup and Football League Trophy ties to be selected on top of that.
Their initial set of matches includes four matches that include League One sides, with Oldham Athletic and Swindon Town selected for League Cup ties, whilst Sunday 9th September will see a League One double-header, as they feature three of the new clubs to the division for this season.
