Yeovil Town winger Billy Gibson has gone out on loan in an effort to win first team football. Having made just eight appearances for the Glovers this season, the former Watford trainee is off to Braintree Town on a month's loan.
The 21 year old last got onto the pitch for the Glovers on December 13th in the FA Cup Second Round defeat against Fleetwood Town and has not been selected in a single matchday squad under new manager Gary Johnson. Since making his full debut at the start of October, he has had just 24 minutes on the pitch in Football League matches.
During January, Conference National side Lincoln City showed signs that they wanted to take him on permanently, but a move for that was rebuffed by the Glovers. Despite that he's shown no signs since of breaking into the side, and with him out of contract at the end of the season, it would be a surprise if he is offered another deal with the club. In total he has made 13 appearances for the club, but with 11 of those coming from the bench.
