Yeovil Town and Scunthorpe United supporters heading to tonight's match at Huish Park should be wary of ongoing roadworks on the Cartgate Roundabout coming into the town. The same will apply to Saturday's game against Walsall. At present there are a series of roadworks on the roadabout itself - where the A303 and A3088 meet - and also on the A3088 Cartgate Link Road running into town.
The improvements, which are designed to install additional street lighting as well as resurface the road, have caused much controversy, with Highways Agency signs frequently not matching reality and with different stretches of roads closed at different times.
At present, the A3088 is closed, although this situation may change between now and after the match. Diversions are signposted via the A37 (if coming from the East) and A356 (if coming from the West). We'd advise that you use the A37 directly off the A303, and then access Huish Park via Thorne Lane.
Needless to say, allow extra time for your journey tonight! If you're not used to coming into Yeovil via the A37, use the 'From The East' directions on the page below.
