Yeovil Town loan goalkeeper Sam Walker is reported to have signed a new contract with his parent club. The 20 year old is claimed by Sky Sports to have signed a deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2014, giving him two and a half years against his revised deal with Chelsea.
In addition to a loan spell at League Two side Barnet last season, Walker has had two temporary spells out on loan during the 2011-12 campaign, both under Gary Johnson. Having spent half a season with League Two side Northampton Town, he is now part of Yeovil's first team squad, and has so far made two appearances, with his home debut coming in last week's 2-1 win over Preston North End. He is currently on loan with the Glovers until the end of the 2011-12 season.
