Yeovil Town's FA Cup First Round match earlier this month saw them gain a relatively comfortable 3-0 win over Hereford United at Edgar Street. All of the goals scored were long ranger crackers, with Ed Upson netting during the first half, followed by second half strikes from Andy Williams and Dominic Blizzard.
Man of the Match voting saw two of those goalscorers come out in front of the rest of the pack. Striker Andy Williams was making his full comeback from injury in front of his family, as he returned to his home town, and so his goal came at a suitable time for him, and gave him a good showing in the poll. However, it was midfielder Ed Upson who yet again showed himself to be the best on the park, who nudged his way clear as he struck his third goal of the 2011-12 season.
