23 November 2011 : Gilmartin Gives Glovers A Goalkeeper
Yeovil Town have signed up Watford goalkeeper Rene Gilmartin on loan. The 24 year old has signed on a deal that will keep him at Huish Park until January 3rd. He will be the club's fourth goalkeeper following runs for Norwich City's Jed Steer, West Ham's Marek Stech and Glovers coach Gareth Stewart.

Gilmartin is a 6'5" keeper who began his career at Walsall where he spent five years, including short term loans at Worcester City and Hednesford Town. He moved to Watford in 2010 where he has been an understudy to Scott Loach. He is a Repulic of Ireland Under-19 and Under-21 international, and despite being a young player, he already has his UEFA B Coaching Licence.

The very best of luck to Rene at Huish Park over the next six weeks or so.
