Czech Republic goalkeeper Marek Stech has left Yeovil Town at the end of his one month loan with the Glovers. Stech has been recalled by his parent club West Ham United, who recently suffered their own problems with a loan goalkeeper, with Manuel Almunia being recalled by Arsenal.
They recently have got first choice goalkeeper Rob Green back from a knee injury. However, whispers from the Hammers end suggested that they wanted to recall Stech to act as cover for Green, given the concern over his match fitness.
Stech made five appearances for the Glovers, putting in some superb performances along the way, and so will be difficult to replace. With Jed Steer and Gareth Stewart having also performed between the sticks this season, Yeovil Town will be left searching for their fourth goalkeeper of the 2011-12 season.
