Ticketing arrangements for Yeovil Town's trip to Walsall are now available. The match at the Bescot Stadium takes place on Saturday 20th August with a 3.00p.m. kick-off. There are no advance tickets on sale from the Huish Park Ticket Office. All tickets must be purchased direct from the Bescot Stadium Ticket Office, and as per recent trips there, the Saddlers make it an awkward experience for visiting fans by having a matchday surcharge against their tickets, meaning that in practice every Glovers fan will need to phone up and pay by credit card if they are to avoid the additional costs.
Advance ticket prices are as follows:
Adults: £18.50 ; Over-60s and Under-18s: £12.50.
Disabled supporters pay the above prices, but can have an assistant admitted free of charge.
You'll need to add on an extra £2.00 to the above prices if you decide to buy tickets on the day. You'll also need to add on £0.50 for every credit card transaction and an extra £1.00 for any tickets that are posted to your home address. So by the time you've been charged for the phone call, you may wonder if buying tickets in advance is worth the hassle.
To buy tickets in advance, phone Walsall's ticket office on 01922 651416. Note that their opening hours are 9.00a.m. until 4.30p.m. from Monday until Friday.
Walsall's away stand seems to change its sponsored name every season, just to confuse people. It's known as the Extra Bet Stand now, although the locals will still refer to it as the William Sharpe Stand. It holds 1,914 seated spectators behind the goal. Disabled supporters are housed separately in the WBBS Stand (yet more sponsorship changes - it was formerly the Banks's Brewery Stand).
