Yeovil Town have made their third signing for the 2011-12 season. The player in question is 21 year old former Plymouth Argyle defender Bondz N'Gala. He was born in Forest Gate in London and started his career at West Ham United.
Whilst on the books of the Hammers, he gained a small number of appearances during loan spells with Weymouth, Milton Keynes Dons, Scunthorpe United and Plymouth Argyle before moving to Argyle on a two year contract in the summer of 2010 on a permanent basis.
Having signed a two year contract with the Pilgrims, they would have been entitled to a fee. However, the Plymouth Herald report that the agreement will be a free transfer, presumably due to Argyle's need to get players off their wage bill whilst they remain in administration. He made 28 appearances for Argyle during last season.
At present there's no mention of a contract length in terms of the deal he has signed at Huish Park. At 6'2" tall, he is expected to largely be used as a centre-back, although he has been used in other roles.
